Welcome Back to Bloomsburg! No better way to start the semester than with a snow day! Now, we get to business and start SPRING RECRUITMENT! The 3 national sororities are participating in our informal recruitment cycle. COB parties will continue throughout the week. Visit just one house or all 3 (it’s always best to maximize all options!) COB stands for continuous open bidding which allows each sorority to extend a predetermined number of bids to get their membership to total (the maximum number of members allowed per chapter) this number is established by the NPC (the national chapters’ supervising governing body) and is intended to allow space for smaller chapters to grow.
***traditional, formal recruitment will take place in the fall so, if you aren’t ready to check Greek life out, or, you don’t receive a bid from your preferred organization(s) this semester, make sure you sign up for that!

It’s an incredible honor to be recognized by an organization that continues to uphold the values of leadership, education, and equality that Frederick Douglass stood for.
