What does it really mean to work in the justice system?

For Bloom student Yazline Aponte, it meant stepping beyond the classroom and into real courtrooms, real cases, and real conversations that changed her perspective forever.

Through her internship with the Columbia County Public Defender’s Office, Yazline discovered that criminal justice is about more than laws and procedures — it’s about people, empathy, and understanding every side of a story.

Now, she’s turning those experiences into a future in law. ⚖️

🐾 Bloomsburg Grads: Get Ready to Walk the Stage! 🐾

The time has come to celebrate the incredible achievements of the Class of 2026! We can’t wait to see our Huskies take over Nelson Field House for this year’s ceremonies.

Here is the essential information for our graduates and their supporters:

🗓️ Ceremony Schedule
Doors will open one hour prior to each ceremony. Please note that Nelson Field House is a non-air-conditioned space, so we encourage all guests to dress comfortably for the weather!

Graduate Degree Ceremony:

Friday, May 15, at 6:00 p.m.

Undergraduate Degree Ceremonies:

Saturday, May 16, at 9:00 a.m. – College of Health, Sciences and Technology

Saturday, May 16, at 1:00 p.m. – College of Arts, Humanities, Education and Social Sciences

Saturday, May 16, at 5:00 p.m. – Zeigler College of Business and Academic Affairs
