The Education Department welcomes new faculty member Dr. Michelle Brown! Dr. Brown is a long-time adjunct instructor and double alum of Bluefield University. She completed her Bachelor’s at Bluefield and later completed the Master’s in Educational Leadership. This was Dr. Brown’s second Master’s degree after completing her Doctor of Education degree. Dr. Brown has been in education for over 25 years as a teacher and now special education coordinator. Dr. Brown is teaching in our Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral programs. We are thrilled to have her join our team. 💙

First day of classes for the 2026/2027 academic year! Welcome to all of our new and returning online and on-campus students! It is an exciting year as we launch our Doctor of Education program and the Education Department celebrates its 50th anniversary! We look forward to helping students prepare for the fields of education, psychology, human services, and counseling.
