Meet Ty, a criminal justice alum, who is now a police officer employed by the City of Redmond, Washington. He is currently assigned to the Traffic Unit as a motorcycle officer. In addition to his normal duties, Ty is also part of the major collision investigation team where he responds to and investigates serious-injury and fatal traffic collisions.

Ty chose the Redmond Police Department for being a premier law enforcement agency that had established both trust and support within the community. He also appreciates the opportunities for career growth, the level of training provided, and the financial compensation and strong benefits package with medical, dental, retirement, PTO, and even paid on-duty workout time.

Ty enjoys working alongside people who are not only great coworkers but also great people and friends, and some of his best memories have been moments shared alongside his partners at Redmond PD. He says it also doesn’t hurt that he gets paid to ride a motorcycle!

If you're interested in a law enforcement career, come meet Redmond WA Police at the career fair next Wednesday!

Meet Marisa, a social work alum who found her job at the Boise State Career Fair.

Marisa started working at CenterPointe in 2023 as a Registered Behavioral Technician. She worked in this role for three years while completing her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Boise State. Upon graduation of her Master of Social Work program, Marisa stepped into the role of Mental Health Counselor in May of 2026.

Marisa chose CenterPointe because she values working with children and families and felt that CenterPointe would help her gain the hands-on experience she would need to advance her career. CenterPointe stood out because of their flexible scheduling which allowed her to continue her education while working. She chose to stay with CenterPointe after getting her master's because of the fun and collaborative environment where she truly feels supported by management.

Looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? Come meet CenterPointe Inc. at the career fair next Wednesday.
