If you are interested in this position, let me know:

I have a large yard, including a large vegetable garden covering over 14 raised beds. In the past I tended the yard except for the lawn (husband's area). But several years ago my right leg was amputated above the knee, so I've depended on a series of students for help in the garden and now that my husband is no longer able to handle mowing, we need help on that front too. My garden helper has decided that, since he's living in Star, he doesn't want to drive to the south side of Boise (I live near the airport terminal), because of the increased traffic. He's been working for me for several years, through BSU graduation (he decided he liked yard work better than mechanical engineering). Now BSU is relying on software designed for graduating seniors for all student hiring. The woman in the career center has been very helpful, but I've had zero applicants (when I hired this fellow, there were 15 applicants). I suspect that the "Handshake" software program has obliterated my notice because I have a "generic" rather than a firm e-mail address.
If you either know of any students who could use extra money or possibly could post a note, I'd be very grateful. I have been getting by with having garden help for a 3 hour block of time each week, day flexible. I have been paying $10 per hour to start with, and if efficient and capable, can raise to $15/ hour. I did apply to the CWI career center, but have not had a reply of any sort for two weeks, perhaps because I'm in Boise and they're in Nampa.
