Our radiographer colleagues at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Center in Tanzania shared this message after receiving a new radiologic positioning textbook from us through RAD-AID support 📚🩻

We are deeply grateful to Grant Petersen, Jr and family, for the generous donation to the Connie Petersen Scholarship, supporting Computed Tomography (CT) students in her honor. 💙🧡
Connie Petersen was a proud Boise State alum, later a dedicated faculty member, and a lasting force in our program. Alongside Lorrie Kelley, she created the Sectional Anatomy book that continues to guide our students and students around the world today. Her scholarship has helped countless Boise State CT students continue their education—including one of our current faculty members.
Connie passed away from ALS this year, but her legacy lives on through the students she continues to inspire and support through her estate.
We are truly thankful and honored to receive this gift, which will help future CT students pursue their education and careers in medical imaging.

✨ Celebrating 55 Years of Excellence! ✨
This past weekend, we honored the 55th anniversary of the Boise State School of Medical Imaging & Radiologic Sciences — a program built on innovation, dedication, and generations of incredible students, faculty, and professionals. 💙📸🩻

From alumni reunions to inspiring stories from the field and a fantastic CEU event, the weekend was a powerful reminder of how far this community has come and the impact it continues to make in healthcare.
Special thank you to our speakers at our CEU event — Eric Coliani, Monica Breedlove, Chad Hensley, Dawn Hunter, Anastasia Tracy, Leslie Kendrick, and Jennifer Myers.
