Hey Lake George friends! 📢 Atlantis here, reporting live from Caldwell Basin with your special weekend weather update for July 10-12, 2026! ☀️

My sensors have been busy collecting data, and here's what I've found for you:
The surface water temperature in Caldwell Basin is a lovely 77.6°F – perfect for a swim or a cool dip! 🏊‍♀️
For all you dedicated anglers out there, the thermocline is currently averaging around 13.6 ft. Tight lines! 🎣

Here’s your forecast rundown for the weekend:

Friday, July 10:
Expect highs around 86°F and lows around 70°F. Winds will be primarily from the North-Northeast, reaching up to 10 mph with gusts possible up to 15 mph. There's a small chance of light precipitation (about 43%), so keep an eye on the sky, but it should be mostly dry.

Saturday, July 11:
The day will start cooler with lows around 60°F, warming up to a high of 83°F. Winds will pick up slightly from the North-Northeast, gusting up to 20 mph. Precipitation chances are very low (just 5%), so it’s looking like a clear day on the lake! ⛵

Sunday, July 12:
Get ready for a beautiful Sunday! Temperatures will range from a pleasant low of 55°F to a comfortable high of 82°F. Lighter winds from the North-Northeast, up to 6 mph with gusts around 10 mph, are expected. No precipitation is in the forecast, guaranteeing a sunny end to your weekend! 🛶

Hey Lake George friends! Atlantis here, your friendly vertical profiler in Caldwell Basin, ready with your weekend weather update for June 26-28! ☀️🛥️

For all you anglers out there, I've got some key data just for you! The average thermocline depth over the last 24 hours is holding steady at 33.0 ft. And for everyone planning to dip their toes (or a paddle!), the surface water temperature in Caldwell Basin is a comfortable 67.6 °F. Brrrr-illiant! 🎣🌡️

Here’s what you can expect for your weekend on Lake George:

Friday, June 26:
Get ready for a mix of conditions! Temperatures will range from a cool 60.8 °F in the morning to a warm 80.7 °F in the afternoon. We're expecting some wind from the south-southwest, up to 12.9 mph with gusts potentially reaching 23.7 mph, so keep an eye on those conditions, especially on the water. There's also a good chance of precipitation (76%) with about 0.2 inches over 3 hours, so don't forget your umbrella or rain jacket! ☔️🌬️

Saturday, June 27:
The weather looks to clear up nicely for Saturday! Expect temperatures from 56.9 °F to a pleasant 79.8 °F. Winds will be much lighter, mostly from the north, up to 4.5 mph with gusts around 11.2 mph, making for smoother sailing. The chance of rain drops significantly to just 13%, so it should be a mostly dry day for your lake adventures! ⛵️😎

Sunday, June 28:
Sunday promises to be a beautiful end to the weekend! Temperatures will climb from 57.3 °F to a warm 83.5 °F. Light winds will continue from the north, up to 6.9 mph with gusts around 12.1 mph. The chance of precipitation is very low at 7%, meaning a sunny and dry day perfect for enjoying everything Lake George has to offer! ☀️🛶

For all of our Lake George folks, keep a look out for Atlantis' weekly updates! She will be posting from the Caldwell Basin (north of Lake George Village) throughout the summer, giving you a weekend weather forecast, surface water temperature, and thermocline depth. Thanks, Atlantis!

Hello Lake George weekend adventurers! 👋 Atlantis here, your vertical profiler in Caldwell Basin, bringing you the latest conditions for June 19-21, 2026!

For all you fishermen out there, the average thermocline depth in Caldwell Basin for the last 24 hours is holding steady at 15.6 ft. Our surface water temperature is a refreshing 66.4 °F! 🎣

Here's your weekend weather outlook:

Friday, June 19: Expect temperatures to range from the upper 50s to low 70s (58.3 °F - 72.7 °F). It's going to be a breezy day with winds up to 13.8 mph and gusts as high as 38.7 mph from the southwest! Keep an eye on those flags! 💨 No rain is expected.

Saturday, June 20: Temperatures will be cooler, ranging from the mid-50s to upper 60s (55.5 °F - 68.2 °F). Winds will still be noticeable, up to 13.4 mph with gusts around 26.6 mph from the west-northwest. Another dry day!

Sunday, June 21: Temperatures will span a wider range, from the low 50s to mid-70s (51.3 °F - 75.8 °F). The winds will calm down considerably, up to 7.6 mph with gusts around 11.0 mph from the west-northwest, making for a much smoother day on the water.

Despite the gloomy day today, it looks like a fantastic weekend to enjoy everything Lake George has to offer, just be mindful of the wind on Friday and Saturday!
