When you give to Appalachian State, you help to expand access to education, fuel research and discovery, and support Mountaineers.

Thanks to the generosity of private contributions, App State logged more than $51 million in donations, making fiscal years 2025 and 2026 the most successful fundraising years in university history!

Let’s hear it one more time (for now...) for Team Sunergy!

Enjoy some of these behind the scenes shots from Appalachian State Solar Vehicle Team's time on the road and a few of their stats that are still blowing our minds! ⚡

- Team Sunergy made history becoming the only team to capture the first-place win TWICE in the international 2026 Electrek American Solar Challenge's multi-occupant vehicle category.

- Team Sunergy raced Highway 66 from Minneapolis to Amarillo, Texas. That’s nearly 1,830 miles!

- Autumn, coming in at 660 pounds of carbon fiber, had an average speed of 31.7 miles per hour.
