Our students explored so many incredible architectural styles in Romania! From fortified churches to merry cemeteries, Transylvania's history is woven into the buildings and monuments found on nearly every street.

The region's unique past, shaped by Romanian, Hungarian, Saxon, and other cultural influences, is reflected in its architecture, from medieval citadels and Gothic churches to Baroque palaces and colorful town squares.

Walking through these spaces feels like stepping through different chapters of history, each building telling a story of the people, traditions, and events that helped shape Transylvania into the diverse and fascinating region it is today.

Our students spent the day at Bran Castle! Often linked to Dracula, the connection is more myth than history!

The most mesmerizing part of the castle is the story of Queen Maria, one of the most important figures in Romanian history!

It was an unforgettable experience filled with history, culture, and incredible views โ€” they had such an amazing time!

What happens when you slow down and focus on the craft of writing?

This past semester at the Reich College of Education, students stepped away from screens and into the tactile world of manual typewriters during Typewriter Fest โ€” an experience designed to spark creativity, reflection and intentionality in writing. As Dr. Chris Osmond shared, โ€œIf you want to make perfect wordsโ€ฆ use your computer. But if you want to make human words, real words, use a manual typewriter.โ€
