Happy International Microorganism Day! 🧫

Today we're highlighting the Davidi Lab, where researchers study extremophilic microorganisms to better understand how life adapts to extreme environments.

Using microalgae as a model, the lab investigates how organisms survive conditions like extreme salinity, light and nutrient limitation. This research could help inform new approaches to engineering stress-resilient organisms and developing sustainable biotechnologies.
