Faculty from our very own Physical Therapy and Movement Science Department, along with the College of Art, Movement, and Design and College of Computer Science, have received a $900,000 NSF grant to develop an AI powered learning tool.

Dr. Heidi Cheerman, Dr. Sherri Kiami, Dr. Leanne Chukoskie, and Dr. Eileen McGivney have been working on an AI powered Virtual Reality simulation to help students practice skills in real-world healthcare situations.

This past Friday we hosted a career fair for all of our Northeastern DPT students. Thank you to all of the individuals who took time out of their busy schedules to connect with our students and represent their companies! It was great to welcome back so many Northeastern alumni and have them connect with our students!

Ever wonder how a college degree can turn the science of movement into a career in healthcare, research, or sports? Northeastern University's Kinesiology program teaches students how the body moves and why that matters for public health.

Kinesiology is the study of human movement, from walking and running to how someone gets around using a wheelchair. As more people live sedentary lifestyles, understanding movement has never been more important for improving health outcomes worldwide.
