Join artist Elizabeth Donsky for 100 Drawings: an immersive studio experience designed to strengthen your drawing practice through experimentation, volume, and momentum. Working at a pace of 20 drawings per day, students will move through observation, imagination, collage, painting media, monotypes, and mixed media approaches in a process that feels more like a visual marathon than a traditional drawing class.
Elizabeth is no stranger to rigorous creative practice. Image 4 features her installation Animal Vegetable Mineral — a project created for a NYC Garment District storefront in which she produced a new drawing installation each day across nine days, allowing each environment to evolve through color, repetition, space, and transformation.
Elizabeth’s work explores how drawings can reshape a space architecturally, visually, and conceptually — and that same spirit of curiosity and sustained making carries into her teaching.
With a career spanning site-specific installations and teaching appointments at RISD, Brown, Hofstra, and Drexel, Elizabeth invites students to embrace process, trust experimentation, and discover what happens when they simply keep making.
