A few highlights from yesterday’s conversation on health, policy, activism, and social justice! 📚
We were delighted to welcome Nick Freudenberg (CUNY) and John McDonough (Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health) to celebrate their recent books, Fighting for New York: Activism for Health & Social Justice Since the 1960s and America’s Wrong Turn: US Healthcare in the Neoliberal Era.
Thank you to both authors for sharing their insights on the forces shaping health and healthcare, thank you to Ellen Meara for moderating this event, and thank you to everyone who joined us for this thought-provoking discussion!
