As a public health specialist, you have the power to help protect the health of populations around the globe. This program builds on your bachelor’s degree so you can build your career preventing disease transmission, promoting health and wellness in communities, and advancing health equity across the globe.
The 42-credit Master of Public Health (MPH) Program may be completed online or in-person with a required face-to-face Preparatory Seminar for the Culminating Experience offered once a year. Upon completion of the MPH program, students will be able to: 1) Define the ten essential services of public health and utilize them as a framework for community health 2) Demonstrate competencies in the five core disciplines of public health: Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Environmental Health Science, Health Policy and Management, and Social and Behavioral Sciences 3) Develop strategies to address complex health issues 4) Translate the information provided in the virtual classroom to public health practice
