UMB Early Minds Lab We are a child-based psychology Lab located at UMass Boston. We are currently recruiting 1-10 year olds for online and in-person studies.

Here at the UMass Boston Baby Lab we study how this learning process happens. How do babies engage with the world around them and learn about objects, people, and language? If you come in for a visit to participate in one of our studies, we will start out by telling yo

u about the study while your baby gets comfortable in our play area. After that, s/he will watch a short 5-15 minute baby-friendly video while sitting on your lap or in a comfortable chair while we measure where your baby is looking on the screen or s/he will sit on a comfortable chair and watch a short series of pictures on a tablet and play a fun memory game. After the study, you will receive $20 for participating and a small gift to take home! The entire visit typically lasts about 1 hour. To make an appointment, just go to:

Happy Friday! ☀️ We are looking for more 4 year olds for our study Sticker Machine 🖍

In this game, children will do puzzles and draw to get stickers from our sticker machine. This visit won't take more than 30 mins, and your family will receive $30 for participating, as well as a small gift and certificate of completion for the child participating! 🧩
