At the UW Bothell School of Nursing & Health Studies, we believe that effective healthcare leadership requires a deep understanding of community needs.

Our BNURS 424 Population-Based Health course challenges our RN-to-BSN
students to apply their clinical expertise in non-traditional settings. This spring, that
meant building a highly rewarding partnership with the Seattle Children's Alyssa
Burnett Adult Life Center.

We are incredibly proud of our students for their dedication to inclusive,
community-driven care. This collaboration not only provided our cohort with
invaluable, hands-on adaptation skills but also strengthened our university's bond
with an organization doing phenomenal work for neurodiverse adults.

June is Men's Health Month 👱‍♂️🚹

This month is aimed to raise awareness about Men's health, encouraging men to take a focus on their health to prevent health problems, make healthier lifestyle choices, and advocate for their mental health. 🫶✨

You matter; your health matters. Take the time to schedule an annual exam, eat healthier, talk to a friend, or go for a walk to help clear your mind and make you relaxed and refreshed. 🤍
