Fellowship of Catholic University Students at UW Bothell

Fellowship of Catholic University Students at UW Bothell FOCUS at UW Bothell is a community inviting college students into a growing relationship with Jesus
(1)

Founded in 1998 by Curtis Martin, FOCUS, the Fellowship of Catholic University Students, is a national outreach to colleges and universities throughout the United States. Through small group Bible studies, large group leadership training, and one-on-one mentoring, FOCUS brings the fullness of life and truth in the Catholic Church to college students and gives them the tools to help them share this

good news with their friends. FOCUS is working to play a vital role in the new evangelization called for by Pope John Paul II. FOCUS teaches recent college graduates, trains them in the teachings of the Church, Scripture and practical aspects of leadership, and sends them out in teams of four or more to serve on college campuses. FOCUS staff members make an initial two-year commitment to this full-time work. FOCUS works with the blessing of the local bishop and the support of the pastor and existing ministry(ies). In just 12 years, FOCUS has grown to serve 50 campuses in 28 states. The fruits of our work have been many, including: the fostering of more than 260 vocations to the priesthood and the religious life, as well as preparing thousands of young adults to know their faith, share their faith and live their faith.
