๐Ÿฆฌ Help welcome the newest members of the Forever Buffs community!

๐ŸŽ‰ Weโ€™re looking for hosts for this yearโ€™s Student Send-Offs. These events help welcome incoming first-year and transfer students, along with their families, into the CU Boulder and Forever Buffs community before they arrive on campus.

Host locations needed:
๐Ÿ“ Boston, MA
๐Ÿ“ Honolulu, HI
๐Ÿ“ South Florida

๐Ÿ’› As a Student Send-Off host, youโ€™ll provide a space for 20โ€“50 students and families, while the Alumni Association (Forever Buffs: University of Colorado Boulder Alumni) provides a host kit (swag included!) and support leading up to the event.

๐Ÿ—“๏ธ Student Send-Offs can be hosted any time between Monday, July 6, and Sunday, August 2.

๐Ÿฅ Reminder for ๐™˜๐™ค๐™ฃ๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™ช๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ students (2026โ€“27 academic year)

All students are required to have health insurance coverage and will be automatically enrolled in the Anthem Gold Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) unless a waiver is submitted.

If you already have coverage through a parent, employer, individual plan or government program, you can submit a waiver to show proof of your existing insurance.

โš ๏ธ Important: Students who do not submit a waiver by ๐™Ž๐™š๐™ฅ๐™ฉ. ๐Ÿญ, ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฒ will be automatically enrolled in Anthem Gold SHIP and billed $2,648 per semester.

As you plan for the 2026โ€“27 school year, take a moment to:
โœ” Enroll in Anthem Gold SHIP if you need coverage
โœ” Or submit your waiver if you already have qualifying insurance
