In German Studies, we focus on all areas of German speaking cultures and their crucial roles in the formation of the modern world. At CU Boulder, our faculty have interdisciplinary interests, teaching and researching in fields that include language and literature, but also cross over into art history, critical race and ethnic studies, film studies, history, Jewish studies, philosophy, political sc

New scholarships available! We are pleased to announce the new Leonhard E. Baak Memorial Scholarships for the study of German at CU. These scholarships award up to $8000 per student per year, and are offered to students who have declared a major in German based on financial need and academic performance.
