“I went Tri Delta because it felt like home when I needed it most. On Pref, I almost didn’t go back for my last round, but I’m so grateful I did. I ended up having such a genuine conversation about what I was going through, and it made me feel understood and supported at a time when I really needed it. “As an out-of-state freshman, I knew it would be hard at first to find my people, but I am so grateful to say that Tri Delta has brought me them already. From the moment I walked into the house, something just felt right. I remember tearing up during recruitment while watching the philanthropy video and hearing the girls talk about all the different ways they’ve gotten involved. St. Jude holds such a special place in my heart, especially because I hope to become an oncologist in the future, so being part of a sisterhood that supports such an incredible cause means even more to me. More than anything, though, it’s the girls who have made Tri Delta feel like home. Everyone I’ve met from philanthropy day one until now has been so genuine, welcoming, and real, and I truly wouldn’t trade it for the world. September is childhood cancer awareness month 🎗️
We are proud to stand alongside our philanthropy, St. Jude, who treats thousands of children each year. Tri Delta stands by each family and child impacted by childhood cancer and we are proud to fundraise for St. impact on these families!

My Junior year of high school I was asked to take on my school’s chapter of Student Visionaries of the Year for Blood Cancer United, an organization that for the past 75 years, their goal has been to cure blood cancer and improve the quality of life of all patients and their families. SVOY is a program to teach leadership and campaigning skills to young adults. I led “Courage for a Cure” with two other girls in my grade, overseeing a team of ten others. At the end of our six-week campaign, we raised almost $50,000!! Our campaign was surrounded by advocacy: to help pass legislation that focuses on benefitting cancer patients. My senior year, I was asked to be part of the nomination committee, where I was able to broaden the network of SVOY, to help others my age gain the confidence that campaigning taught me!

Tri Delta’s profound mission of supporting St. Jude deeply resonates with me and I look forward to combining these efforts and continuing to fight to cure cancer.

This past weekend, a few of our sisters traveled up to the University of Wyoming to help their Tri Delta chapter through formal recruitment!!

We feel so lucky to have been given this opportunity to not only learn more about their chapter but form a relationship with their sisters as well. The Tri Delta sisterhood expands far outside of Boulder and we had the best weekend getting to know our sisters in Wyoming 💘🫶🌟

Meet Michelle and Camryn, best friends and roommates who ran home to Tri Delta together on bid day this year!!

“When I was deciding between colleges, I wasn’t completely sure where I wanted to end up, but once I found Boulder, I completely fell in love with it. One of the best parts was finding out that Camryn had fallen in love with Boulder too, and that we would get to experience college together. Camryn was actually the one who encouraged me to do recruitment, and I’m so glad she did because it brought us even closer while also giving us the opportunity to meet so many new people. From the first time I walked into Tri Delta, I instantly felt like I had found a place where I belonged. Finding out that Camryn got Tri Delta too and getting to run home together was such a surreal experience. Growing up with two brothers, I’ve always wanted sisters, and in so many ways, Camryn has always felt like the sister I never had. Getting to experience this new chapter with her and now have an entire sisterhood around us makes it even more special. I truly wouldn’t have wanted to experience this any other way, and I’m so grateful that we get to call Tri Delta home together.” xo, Michelle

“When I first toured CU Boulder, I immediately fell in love, and I knew this was where I wanted to be. I never could have imagined that my best friend from home would have a similar experience. Not only did we both fall in love with Boulder, but we also found ourselves feeling the same way about Tri Delta. When I decided to go through recruitment this year, I was looking for genuine friendships and girls I could love and cherish like sisters, and that’s exactly what I found. The second I walked through the doors at Tri Delta, I had a feeling that this was my home away from home, and I couldn’t have been more excited! When Michelle and I opened our bids and ran home to Tri Delta together, I knew we had found our forever home. Going through this experience together brought us even closer, and I am so grateful that we got to share such a special moment and become part of this incredible sisterhood.” xo, Camryn
