Student filmmakers participating in the University of Colorado Boulder Department of Cinema Studies's 150 Years of CU Boulder film competition had five minutes or fewer to tell a story from the university's expansive history.

The winning films by Doug Conway and Benjamin Albuisson incorporate both historical photos and videos, telling stories of a spot in Boulder, Colorado, where communities grew, where ideas flourished and where innovation with potential to change the world happened.

When dancers are in tune with each other, their brains may sync up, helping them move as one.

Researchers from the ATLAS Institute at CU Boulder measured electrical activity in the brains of pairs doing the Argentine tango. They found that when those dancers were moving together in time, the activity in their brains also began to look similar.
