The freshmen got to work on there schedule for the fall with all the professors during the 2023 orientation. Welcoming the class of 2027 to the halls.

Back in March Several of our STEM student organizations headed out to Momence Jr. High for their STEM night. The got the pleasure to hang out and teach the next generation of scientists, engineers, and mathematicians.

On Nov 11, The engineering department had 7 of their alumni come back to have a Q&A panel for current students to be able to ask questions and learn from their journey. The alumni also brought with them many job and internship opportunities. This event was put on by , .ieee , .olivet , and AIChE.

What a blessed homecoming weekend!

This past Friday, students presented their projects for the Pence-Boyce Research projects, attended the STEM Awards Ceremony, and had the opportunity to connect with alumni at the Catalyst Dinner. It was a great night to celebrate our students and alumni alike, thank you to all who attended!

This weekend our ASME student section traveled down to Indianapolis for Student Leaders Weekend. At the conference, they got to meet other student sections and learn about all the amazing opportunities in being apart of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

This weekend, students participated in the 2022 Kankakee River Clean up led by student leaders of The Olivet River Keepers and with the help of Reed’s Canoe Trips.

They covered 7 miles of the Kankakee river, three more miles than previous years, and set a record number for student volunteers.
