Our members spent their Saturday at the Severe Weather Awareness Day hosted by US National Weather Service Nashville Tennessee. They showed professionalism and made contacts for possible future employment. They also visited the NWS in Nashville to learn about the daily functions and got to release a weather balloon.

🌪Meteorology student and WKU’s AMS and NWA Chapter President Wyatt Crutcher is joining the CLIMBS project as a student researcher!

🚨He will work with primarily Dr. Joshua Durkee and David Oliver on Project 7: Helping to analyze and development emergency management and hazard mitigation strategies for future high impact and extreme meteorological events
