Meet Allison Wahl, a senior Biochemistry major on the Pre-Med track at WKU who founded The Balanced Box Project, a new student organization dedicated to making healthy eating accessible for Bowling Green families.

Inspired by her own childhood experiences with meal kits, Allison set out to provide local families with free, fresh ingredients and simple recipes to make home cooking approachable and affordable.

New cohort of ambassadors spotted in OCH. 👀

Our SEAS 175: Freshman Experience course, comprised of the students in the WKU School of Engineering and Applied Sciences Living Learning Community, rose to the challenge to build a 24" or taller structure made entirely of index cards that could hold this 2.5 lb. 3D-printed Big Red! Many groups were successful and continued to add layers to their structures to see who could go the tallest.

This was a fun challenge that put their teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test. 🏗

Dean Brown took a walk through the Mahurin Honors College & Gatton Academy Research Fair last Friday to connect with the next generation of WKU researchers! The Ogden College of Science & Engineering was well represented, connecting new students with OCSE faculty and showing them how to get involved in real-world research.

Two WKU students have been named recipients of the Lee Robertson Scholarship for the 2026–2027 academic year, and BOTH of them are from Ogden College of Science & Engineering!
