This April, Organizational Communication graduate student Tanya Prabhakar presented on the Top Paper Panel in Applied Communication at the 2026 Southern States Communication Association Conference 🎉

Her presentation, Effects of Employment on University Students’ Organizational Identification and Boundary Management, explored the effects of working as a student on organizational identification and work-life balance.

We’re so proud of Tanya and her incredible work! 👏 Next year, she’ll be continuing her journey as a speech and debate coach and adjunct professor at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, CA.
