8/30 is the last day to add class(es) without college permission and 9/6 is the last day to drop class(es) without college permission for traditional 15-week undergrad courses. If considering adjustments, you’re strongly encouraged to connect with your academic advisor and Student Financial Aid & Scholarships. Changes to your schedule might result in changes to your bill, scholarship eligibility, etc.

The Harry S. Truman Scholarship is a national scholarship for graduate school in any field that leads to leadership in public service (government, education, or non-profit sectors). The Truman Foundation provides up to $30,000 for a Masters or PhD program. The internal application deadline is October 1. Email Madi ([email protected]) with any questions or to set up an appointment to discuss the application process.

The Barry Goldwater Scholarship awards up to $7,500 in aid to sophomores or juniors with a career interest in STEM research. BGSU can nominate up to four scholars for the national competition. If you have research experience and an interest in pursuing research in your career, reach out to Madi at [email protected]! The internal application deadline is October 1.
