Sharing more awesome statistics highlighting WKU greek chapters success in the classroom.

Based off our most recent graduation statistics, WKU Sorority women graduate at a 19% higher rate than the WKU Female graduation rate. WKU Fraternity men graduate at a 16% higher rate than the WKU Male graduation rate.

Additionally, fall to spring retention rate amongst freshman fraternity and sorority women is 93%!

Congrats to our chapters for their academic success this semester! This spring, our All-Fraternity GPA was .2 above the All-Men's GPA and our All-Sorority GPA was .3 above the All-Women's GPA! Another fun fact... all 15 of our sororities earned a chapter GPA of a 3.0 or greater!

Terrific job to our chapters for their outstanding academic prowess this semester! One common misnomer is that joining a fraternity/sorority might adversely affect one's grades. At WKU, we are proud that joining a fraternity/sorority actually increases GPA/retention/graduation rates. Over the next couple of days, we will share some highlights of the Spring 2026 semester... In looking at the Spring semester:

402 made a perfect 4.0 GPA (19% of the WKU Greek population)
961 made a 3.5+ GPA (45% of the WKU Greek population)
1485 made a 3.0+ GPA (70% of the WKU Greek population.

🗓️ Save the date: Residence Hall move-in timeslots will be available in the WKU Housing Portal beginning June 1!

Students can choose from three move-in options:
1. Top Drop & Go, August 7-9
2. Special Programs (M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan, Honors H4, Sorority Recruitment, etc.)
3. Opening Weekend, August 20-22

🚩All move-in options require students to sign up for a move-in timeslot.
