Before forming a conclusion, ask:

🔸 Who wrote or spoke these words?
🔸 Who was the original audience?
🔸 What problem or situation was being addressed?
🔸 How does the passage fit within the surrounding chapter?
🔸 How does it fit within the larger message of Scripture?

These questions do not weaken faith. They help us handle Scripture more carefully.
