The faculty and staff at Olympic College's early childhood program would like to take this opportunity to remind all that quality child care provides a safe, nurturing environment that fuels critical brain development, shapes a child's future not only academically but also emotionally and serves as a vital economic engine. Quality childcare, whether it be a home based center or large childcare center provides family stability and broader economic health. It should also nurture it's staff recognizing the day to day work they do with children is critical and valuable. Bottom line: children matter.

WWU Teacher Preparation Information night is coming soon! If you are interested in pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Teaching from Western Washington University on the OC Bremerton campus, please plan on attending our last information night of this year before applications are due. Wednesday, February 18th starting at 5:30 p.m in Building 2, room 105E. WWU and OC Faculty will be on hand to answer any questions. Not ready for Fall 2026?
