Welcome to the Vincennes University Family!
We are thrilled to officially welcome Sarah Bertholet-Hudson as our new Site Director for the Military Education Program in San Diego, California!
Sarah is a trained military education counselor dedicated to advancing the educational goals of active-duty service members, reservists, veterans, and their families. Stationed in Southern California, she oversees three VU locations: NAF El Centro, Naval Medical Center San Diego, and Naval Station San Diego. These sites offer in-person advising offices alongside both face-to-face and hybrid classrooms tailored to meet her students' needs.
She brings over 20 years of deep personal and professional connection to the military lifestyle. As a proud military mom and former Ombudsman, Sarah offers an incredible amount of heart, empathy, and firsthand understanding of the sacrifices made by military families.
With a background spanning customer-facing roles and data analytics, Sarah combines a warm, approachable leadership style with top-notch problem-solving skills—making her a compassionate listener and a dependable resource for our students.
"I am especially honored to have the opportunity to help those who serve achieve their educational goals and build a stronger future for themselves and their families. This role feels like a meaningful way to combine my professional experience, my love of people, and the military community that has been such an important part of my life." — Sarah Bertholet-Hudson
Please join us in giving Sarah a warm VU welcome in the comments below! We are excited to see the amazing impact she will have supporting our military students across Southern California.
