WSU Kitsap County Extension Master Gardeners Master Gardeners are Volunteer Community Educators–cultivating plants, people, and communities since 1973!

Staff and Volunteers educate the public about:

- Organic Gardening practices
- Youth Gardening
- Water Quality
- Landscaping septic systems
- Best landscape practices
- Plant selection and maintenance
- Identification of plants
- Insects and weeds
- IPM (Integrated Pest Management)
- Environmental stewardship
- Native Plants
- Sustainability practices

Got plants? We're looking for well-established perennials for our 2027 Plant Sale!

Check out our "wish list" and let us know if you have plants to contribute. At a time that's convenient for you, two Master Gardeners from our scouting team will come to your home to take a look at what you have available. We'll give you an idea of what we can use, and provide you with a gift card to apply toward a purchase at next year's plant sale.

In the fall, a small team of Master Gardeners will come dig up the agreed-upon plants - our donors say we leave their yards tidier than we found them ☺

It's an easy way to give back to the community - our Plant Sale proceeds help fund the MG program, which generates TONS of food that's donated local food banks each year.
