Phillip Ellis started Rock Hill Farms almost 35 years ago when he bought a piece of land no more than 10 acres just outside of Brewton, Al.while also the Agriscience teacher at W.S. He was well known as a quality show calf breeder by many in Show Cattle circles throughout Alabama and North Florida. His calves won countless shows in Alabama, Florida and Mississippi during the 80’s and 90’s. After h

is passing, His daughter(Karen) and son-in-law(Paul) decided to continue the farming operation. Both are graduates of Auburn University (Paul-Animal Science & Horticulture) (Karen- Wildlife Science). In the Fall of 2015 Paul and Karen made the decision to diversify the cattle operation by expanding into commercial cattle with the purchase of a larger property only a few miles from the original farm. We now farm 80 head of commercial cows as well as hay. We will be also run 80-90 stockers each fall on a separate farm in Conecuh Co.

You can see God when you look for him. He's everywhere but we dont always see him. But many times when you see God it can be difficult to share with others the emotions felt. Its so rare to catch those emotions in a photograph. Unplanned. Unposed. Overly simplistic yet incredibly symbolic. In this photo ( I know I am biased) I feel like I can show you that I saw God today.
