This spring, the School of Business is planning a short-term study abroad experience in Costa Rica that will combine travel, adventure, service, and real-world business experience. 🌎💼

The trip is scheduled for February 26- March 4, 2027, during spring break. 🌱

The University of Bridgeport is pleased to share this unique opportunity to converse with Mr. Igor Sikorsky Jr. on his family’s place in aviation history and the company/business chronicle of Sikorsky Aircraft.

Mr. Sikorsky is an attorney, aviation historian, author, and the son of aviation pioneer Igor Sikorsky. He earned a B.A. in Russian Studies from Yale University in 1951, served two years as a U.S. Air Force intelligence officer studying Soviet air power in Central Europe, and graduated from Yale Law School in 1956. He was a founder and the first Chairman of the Board of the New England Air Museum and has served with the Smithsonian Institution Council and the American Helicopter Museum. He is also co-author of The Lindbergh-Sikorsky Connection, which explores the relationship between Igor Sikorsky and Charles Lindbergh and their role in the development of modern aviation.

Mr.Sikorsky will also be addressing questions from the audience.

Dr.Murray is a UB business Alumni who came to visit Ernest C. Trefz school of business and shared his story, advice, and connected with students

He shared how the UB alumni network helped to shape his career, and how the relationships and mentorship helped open doors for him.
