Gazi Murat Duman

“The Ph.D. in Technology Management program at the largest School of Engineering in the state is an interdisciplinary degree combining both engineering and management science with the focus on emerging technologies. The faculty and candidates aim to contribute both academia and industry with their studies and researches in many different aspects of technology management”.

John Jagtiani

"It has been said and equally experienced by many of us within industry that an engineer is hired for his or her technical skills, fired for poor people skills, and promoted for leadership and management skills. The Ph.D. in Technology Management program at the School of Engineering, University of Bridgeport, aims to narrow the skill and knowledge gaps by infusing real world experience with academic rigor and research methods. The end result will ensure that qualified students are well-rounded and can successfully advance their careers while making lasting contributions whether it be in academia, research, or industry."

Brian Vo

“The University of Bridgeport offers full-time and part-time Ph.D. program in Technology Management. The Technology Management Ph.D. program allows me to fit my studies into a busy work schedule. The school has a very small classroom setting and is extremely team-oriented. Professors and students are very collaborative and interactive throughout the semester. In addition, I am able to apply various theories to solve real world problems in a real time while getting feedback from professors and colleagues. I have learned a lot about writing research papers and journal articles since I’ve started the program”.
