PTK is partnering with the Student Nurses Association for an event that actually saves lives!!

Join us Thursday, April 9th from 11 AM – 2 PM in the Campus Center Terrace (Building 3) for a bone marrow donor registry drive. People with blood cancers like leukemia sometimes need a bone marrow transplant as part of their treatment. A transplant requires finding a donor whose DNA closely matches the patient’s and that’s where the registry comes in.

Joining the registry is simple: fill out a short form and do a cheek swab. Your information is added to a national database, and if you’re ever a potential match for a patient, you’ll be contacted to learn more.
Come stop by to learn more and ask questions. 💙
