Tonight we celebrated one of the most important figures in Freemasonry, the Past Master. We thank those dedicated members who have stayed active in our lodge, those who have put the lodge before themselves, and have spent their time before and after serving in the East trying to make our lodge better.

Thank you brethren. We truly appreciate everything you have done for our Lodge and Fraternity.

Congratulations to Bro. Frank Jones Jr., Worshipful Master, who as of 12 PM today took office for the ensuing Masonic year. We look forward to your year and reinforcement of our motto, “PILGRIM LODGE…WHERE THERE ARE NO STRANGERS, JUST FRIENDLY MASONS.”

Below is the January Tressle board measage from our Worshipful Master, Frank Jones Jr., PM:

Dear Brethren,
It is my honor to serve once again as Worshipful Master, together with Brothers Norm Branyan Jr., PM – Senior Warden; Jacob Sevier – Junior Warden; Robert Hertlein, PM – Treasurer; William Cannon, PM – Secretary; and our newly appointed officers.

When I last served as Worshipful Master, I was deeply grateful for the steadfast support of the Officers and members at every meeting. Your presence and
encouragement meant a great deal to me then, and I sincerely hope to see that same spirit of fellowship and dedication this year.

We are looking forward to an engaging year ahead, with many meaningful programs
and events planned. I encourage each of you to join us regularly, strengthen our bonds, and help us grow in attendance and participation.

Fraternally,
Frank Jones Jr, WM

FOR THOSE WHO COME AFTER ME
A newly raised brother attending his first meeting of Blue
Lodge saw a rather aged Mason sitting in the Senior Deacon
chair. When the lodge was called from labor to refreshment,
he approached the chair, and said, “Why are you sitting in that
chair? Surely you don’t expect to live long enough to ‘reach
the East’?” Upon which the “old master” replied, “The word
is ‘sit’, brother, and I will tell you a little story.
“My ancestors planted acorns, I doubt if they ever expected to
see the oak trees, but they planted them for their children to sit
in the shade and enjoy the fruits of their labor. I do likewise
in the lodge for those who will come after me. I believe it is
time to get back to labor.” A.P. Bernhardt, Tied to Masonic
Apron Strings, Stewart M.L. Pollard
