Please join the Brothers of the Brookfield (WI) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. in supporting one of our own, Brother Francisco Polanco, as he prepares to run the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon this November on behalf of Team for Kids.
Part of his journey is fundraising for Team for Kids. Team for Kids is a community of runners dedicated to raising funds for New York Road Runners youth and community programs that help young people stay active, build confidence, and develop healthy habits that can last a lifetime.
For Brother Polanco, this journey is about more than crossing a finish line. He is running in honor of his sister, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Watching her face this challenge with courage, grace, and determination has been both heartbreaking and inspiring. Her strength serves as a daily reminder of the importance of showing up for the people and causes we care about.
Every mile he runs will be dedicated to her fight and the resilience she demonstrates each day.
