This past weekend was an exciting time for our chapter as AGR celebrated the graduation of nine of our brothers this past Sunday. This is a tremendous accomplishment, and we are proud of all these fine young men and the impact they have made during their time as active members of AGR. Thank you for the time, hard work, and dedication you have given to our chapter throughout your years as AGR active members. We know each of you will go on to do great things in the future.

Congratulations to our graduating seniors (left to right): Gavin Whipple, Ethan Becker, Marcus Gibbs, Caden Bottum, Logan Hilt, Wyatt Haugen, Adam Strei, Hayden Fjell, and (not feature) John Etten. 🎓🌾

As the semester winds down and the 2025–2026 school year comes to an end, we’d like to share some highlights from this past year.

The year started strong with many of our members helping freshmen move into the dorms. From there, we jumped right into fall recruitment, highlighted by our iconic trapshooting event, which was a huge success. Our new members then got to work on the Hobo Day float, and it turned out great. We also enjoyed intramural sports, filled with plenty of competition and even more laughs. Of course, nothing matters more in intramurals than the Cup. While AGR came up just short in a close softball game, we brought the Cup back home with a hard-fought football victory.

The fall semester was also filled with tailgates and cheering on SDSU football. As the semester came to a close, we held our annual elections and introduced a new executive team. They had big shoes to fill, but they’ve done a great job so far.

Spring semester kicked off with a bang, including a ski trip to the Black Hills. We also hosted Pink Rose, which is always a great time and a meaningful way to connect with alumni. Following that, our new executive team attended the Top Leaders Convention in Kansas City, hosted by National AGR.

February was a bit quieter, but our members were still busy traveling to events like the Schiefelbein Bull Sale, Commodity Classic, and Jackrabbit Memorial. March quickly picked up, with members heading south for spring break, going hog hunting, and preparing for Little International.

As the semester wrapped up, we finished strong with a great Founder’s Day celebration alongside our alumni. We also participated in Greek Week, Ag Week, and State-A-Thon, where AGR was well represented and earned several honors and awards.

With everything that’s happened this year, it’s important to remember why we joined. For me personally, it’s the brotherhood and the connections. Looking back on all the memories from this year shows just how impactful this organization is and how meaningful it is to be a brother of AGR.

Here’s to this year—and many more to come.

Last week, AGR celebrated Greek Week at SDSU! This year’s theme was “Through the Decades,” and AGR proudly represented the 80s.

It was a great week filled with friendly competition among fraternities and sororities. Events kicked off Monday with Pie and President. On Tuesday, AGR took home first place in Fraternal Feud. Wednesday featured Air Band, where the brothers performed “Kickstart My Heart” by Mötley Crüe and earned third place. Thursday was Feats of Strength, including sand volleyball (4th place), a bags/cornhole tournament where two of our members placed second, and tug-of-war, where we also earned second place. The week wrapped up with the Greek Week banquet and awards ceremony.

At the banquet, AGR was recognized as the top State-A-Thon Greek team, raising the most money per member across all of Greek Life. We were also recognized for our strong performances throughout the week. AGR was named First Place Fraternity and Second Overall for Greek Week.

Finally, we would like to thank the IFC and Panhellenic boards for organizing such a great event and for helping strengthen connections within Greek Life!

This past weekend, a couple of our members had the opportunity to participate in State-A-Thon. State-A-Thon is a dance marathon that helps raise money for Children’s Miracle Network. The AGR team had a great time dancing and fundraising for such an amazing cause.

During the event, we also had the opportunity to be paired with a family who has gone through the Children’s Miracle Network program. This year—and for the past couple of years—we’ve been lucky to work with Mavrick and Carly’s family. We had an awesome time dancing, fundraising, and giving piggyback rides.

As a team, AGR raised over $4,000, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated and supported this great cause.
