Congratulations to Chanice Hughes-Greenberg, our Fall 2026 Alumni-in-Residence for the Writing Department! Each semester, the department welcomes an alum from their BFA or MFA programs to engage with the community through conversations, panels, events, and other gatherings.

A poet, Capricorn, and w**e enthusiast hailing from a valley in the Catskill Mountains by way of Long Island, Chanice’s work has appeared in Studio Magazine, No, Dear Magazine, The Recluse, The Believer, and other publications. A Pratt Institute alumna with a BFA in Writing, she was a recipient of the 2019 Brooklyn Poets Fellowship and a 2020 Best of the Net nominee.

There's a lot to notice around campus this time of year, such as the changing foliage, the afternoon light, and the familiar spaces that look a little different with each passing season. Wishing you a very happy fall season from everyone at the Alumni Engagement Office!
