The Office of Career Planning and Placement is designed around the concept of the self-directed job search, and provides the tools for job seekers to conduct a thorough, organized search in their respective fields of endeavor. Opportunities for students to participate in internships in their respective majors are also available. This ensures that students have an opportunity to begin their future

careers in a comfortable environment. At the same time, potential employers may observe and begin training students for real jobs. By using this wide range of techniques, tools and services, the office helps students identify their actual vocational aptitudes, gain success in the world of work, and find a productive place in society.

Our internship is a paid, two-summer internship where you work in Washington D.C. and then at an Embassy or Consulate overseas!
