Most professors teach biology. Dr. Konstantine Rountos ensures his students actually "do" it.

For Dr. Rountos, commitment to students goes far beyond the lecture hall. It’s about bridging the gap between the classroom and the professional scientific community. 🔬

Here is what "doing it all" looks like for his students:
• Leading undergraduate research resulting in multiple peer-reviewed publications.
• Conducting critical studies on microplastics and environmental health.
• Spearheading sustainability initiatives and transformative study-abroad programs.
• Guiding through the Middle States reaccreditation.

The most impressive part? He isn't just delivering a curriculum; he’s helping students see themselves as real scientists.
