Blackfeet Community College (BFCC) is partnering with Tribal Energy Alternatives and the Tribal Solar Accelerator Fund (TSAF) to demonstrate the successful implementation of solar energy projects that address community needs and create meaningful educational opportunities. Below is a video highlighting BFCC students participating in the solar energy project and gaining hands-on experience during the 2026 summer. Their involvement demonstrates the importance of connecting classroom learning with real-world renewable energy applications and preparing the next generation to contribute to a more sustainable future for the Blackfeet Nation.

🚧 Road Construction Notice for Wednesday, October 7

Road construction is expected to begin around 9:00 a.m. tomorrow and will affect the lanes used to enter and exit Blackfeet Community College.

Staff & Faculty: Please arrive by 8:30 a.m. and plan to remain on campus until roadway access reopens.

Faculty & Students: If you need to leave campus during construction, please plan ahead. Faculty may offer online instruction when appropriate, and students should contact their instructors about online options if needed.

🍽️ Lunch will still be served at noon, along with an introduction to our new Mental Health Support Specialist, Kiana McClure. We encourage those on campus to join us.

Please allow extra time in the morning and plan accordingly. Thank you for your patience and flexibility!

Indigenous Peoples’ Day Campus Closure

Looking ahead to Indigenous Peoples’ Day, Blackfeet Community College will be closed Monday, October 12, 2026, in observance of the holiday.

As a Tribal College rooted in the Blackfeet Nation, we take this day as an opportunity to honor Indigenous peoples, our ancestors, cultures, languages, traditions and the knowledge carried forward through generations.

We will see you back on campus Tuesday, October 13.

Blackfeet Community College is preparing for an Elder Fair on November 18, 2026, and we are looking for programs, organizations and presenters that provide services or resources for the elderly population.
Our goal is to bring resources together for an afternoon focused on connecting elders with helpful programs and services.
