Welcome, BMED Cohort 2026!

The BMED Student Success Academy brought our incoming BMED Cohort 2026 together for two engaging days of preparation, connection, and discovery.
Throughout the Student Success Academy, students explored what to expect as they begin their journey in the BS in Biomedical Sciences (BMED) program and at UTRGV, learned strategies to prepare for their academic and professional success, and gained insight into the opportunities and experiences that await them.
Just as importantly, students began building meaningful relationships with their peers, faculty, and the broader BMED community—creating a strong foundation for collaboration and support throughout their time at UTRGV.
We are excited to welcome the BMED Cohort 2026 and look forward to supporting them as they grow, learn, and prepare for successful careers in the future. 🌟
