Join us on Friday, October 24, for a beginner-friendly crochet workshop and make a spooky pin, keychain, or coaster!

The workshop will be 2-4 PM in the Campus Center Main Lounge. Supplies and instruction for making jack o’ lantern and cat designs will be provided.

Ever wanted to learn to sew but didn’t know where to start? Now is your chance! Come join the Makerspace in Park 100 on Wednesday, September 24th, from 7-9pm to learn some of the basics of sewing through using fabric and velcro to make a pencil case. Head over to Maker 2, our hub for all things sewing located in Carpenter DMCL! If you are eager to express your creativity in the fabric arts, we offer access to sewing machines, a vibrant selection of thread colors, a comprehensive array of sewing tools, and more!

We will also keep our traditional Monday - Friday hours from 10-4pm by appointment in Maker 2

Constellate allows Bryn Mawr users to learn and perform text analysis, build datasets, and share analytics course materials. Skill-Share 2024 is designed to deliver interactive, live learning sessions, offering participants a unique opportunity to engage with other Constellate users while developing essential skills to enhance their expertise. Through collaborative learning, attendees will gain techniques that will broaden their skillsets and enable them to fully leverage all Constellates features, while also rewarding them with digital certification on topics such as Python for Text Analysis, LLM-Powered Text Classification, and Data Literacy Educator.
