What does health mean to you? Instead of focusing on a specific number, try asking yourself these three questions:
1. What's on my plate? Getting a balanced plate by choosing fruits, veggies, whole grains, and lean protein most of the time can help you achieve optimal nutrition.
2. How active am I? Getting 150 minutes of physical activity a week is recommended, but if you're falling short of that, focus on moving a little bit more each day. Find an exercise that works for you!
3. What's my stress level like most days? Throughout the day, do a mental check-in to evaluate how much stress you're feeling. Try a stress management technique like taking ten deep breaths when you're feeling stressed.

Recovering from finals? Start summer off right by incorporating a few elements of a well-rested day:
1. Try getting outside in the morning. The sunlight produces serotonin, putting you in a better mood at the start of the day.
2. Start your day off feeling full and energized by eating a balanced breakfast with protein, whole grains, and fruits or veggies.
3. Stay away from caffeine six hours before bedtime. This includes tea, chocolate, energy drinks, and coffee.
3. Prioritize sleep with a calming nighttime routine. Dim the lights, read a book, and go to bed at the same time each night.

A good night's sleep helps set us up for success each day! Follow these sleep tips to make each night a little more restful.

1. Eat foods like fish, lentils, beans, and brown rice. These foods are high in B6, which helps the body produce melatonin.
2. Physical activity makes you tired and reduces stress. As a result, it improves sleep quality and increases the amount of time you're likely to sleep.
