Congratulations to two very motivated and talented business students! We know you're going to do amazing things!

Two West Virginia Wesleyan College students Tyriek Crutchfield ‘25, of Lanham, Maryland, and Elisha Taylor ‘26, of Ridgeley, West Virginia, advanced to the finals of the West Virginia Innovation and Business Model Competition held on Tuesday, April 9.

Congratulations to these business-savvy future women entrepreneurs who competed in the West Virginia Innovation & Business Model Competition during Bridging Innovation Days on April 19th. The two teams represented the Albinson School of Business exceptionally well and came away with funding to move their business ideas forward. Pictured (L-R) are the Mugs and Pugs project team Elisha Taylor, Elizabeth Mazzariello, and Caitlin Wilhelm who won $500 and the Let's Grow Photography project team Kendra Mills, Kimber Hausvater, and Jenna Allman who won $1000. We are very proud of their work and look forward to seeing more business ideas become reality.
