The West Virginia Wesleyan College School of Nursing is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor of Nursing to join our faculty for the 2026-2027 academic year.

We're looking for candidates who have:
✔️ Master's degree in Nursing (Doctorate preferred)
✔️ Current, unencumbered West Virginia RN license
✔️ Recent theory and clinical experience (medical-surgical and/or critical care nursing preferred)
✔️ Teaching experience is preferred

✨Appointment to tenure track is possible if the qualifications of the successful applicant and the needs of the institution align.

Our School of Nursing offers BSN, MSN, Post-Graduate FNP Certificate, and DNP programs and features a state-of-the-art simulation laboratory equipped with cutting-edge technology. Faculty enjoy a collaborative and supportive environment with opportunities for teaching, research, scholarship, and professional growth.

🎥 Calling All Nursing Alumni! 🩺🧡

We're looking for graduates of the WVWC School of Nursing to help us showcase what makes our program so special!

On Tuesday, July 14th, a professional video production team from Social Bee will be on campus filming promotional content for our nursing program. One of the highlights of this project is hearing directly from our graduates about their experiences at WVWC and where their nursing careers have taken them.

If you're available and would be willing to participate in a brief on-camera interview, we'd love to have you join us! Your story could inspire future nursing students and help demonstrate the impact of a WVWC nursing education.
