"There wasn't any particular point in my life that pushed me to serve. I just love the Lord and I wanted to show Him how much I loved Him! I figured there was no better was to show God that I loved Him than by dedicating my life to Him.

My absolute favorite thing about the message I bring to the people I teach here is that Heavenly Father loves each of them so deeply and distinctly. His love for us is the reason behind everything He does!

I'm so thankful to be serving Him here at this time, but I'll be even more thankful to get to experience rain and trees again... Utah is a desert!"

Sister Andee Nelson is currently serving in the Arkansas, Bentonville Mission! She attended SVU in 2024-25 and was on the track team!

"The Book of Mormon has brought so many blessings in my life. Being able to share the Book of Mormon with other has helped me to strengthen my testimony as well. The Book of Mormon helps us to come closer to Jesus Christ. By reading the Book of Mormon and applying its teachings we learn how we can learn and grow. It testifies that Jesus is the Christ, and through him we can make it back to our home in Heaven with God."
