Through 2030, our T32 training grant in alcohol etiology will be funded through the NIAAA! This is an exciting continuation of work that began in 2000. Learn more in the linked UB Now.

UB has received five years of funding from the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA), part of the National Institutes of Health, to continue its long-running Research Training on Alcohol Etiology and Treatment program.

Caroline Attardo Genco, provost and senior vice president at Tufts University, has been named ’s 16th president, becoming the first woman and Buffalo native to lead the university. Her appointment was approved by the SUNY Board of Trustees Tuesday following an international search.

Our graduates are walking the stage tomorrow, but Commencement means something a little extra special to one grad in particular. This family is graduating two Bulls this weekend, what a milestone together as mother and daughter.

This will be a special commencement season for Farzana Moid and her daughter, Maheea Sayeed, who are both graduating from UB this spring with master's degrees.
