Returning to campus as the keynote speaker for the 2026 Horace Mann Graduate Research Symposium, he reflected on how Buffalo State’s Exceptional Education program shaped his career—from special education teacher to professor and nationally respected leader in inclusive education.

Thank you to all who joined us for a celebration of our mentor teachers last week at the Campus House. Thank you for your partnership, your expertise, and your commitment to preparing the next generation of educators.
